What's the difference between human nature and the human spirit? Individually, collectively, etc. I feel like they're at odds with each other, with human nature being either cthonic, barbaric, and/or robotic, while the human spirit is more Apollonian, yet without being totally at odds with human nature. either we rise, or we fall.

I'm looking to everything from the highest possible perspective with as little overlap as possible.
>Plato (pbuh)
>CS Peirce (better than Aristotle, completed the system of German idealism)
Who’s the third to complete the trifecta? I'd prefer a systematic philosopher who deals with chaos, multiplicity, progression, flow, “least resistance”, freedom, nature, etc., because that’s what I think I’m missing now. Bonus points if they partially subsume Laozi and Zhuangzi. Then I’ll be able to have my own answer to the problem of the one and the many (my own personal little LARP dream).

I have a hunch that Deleuze is my guy, but I don’t really know much about him. I’m generally extremely inexperienced with French philosophy. Any thoughts?

A bit random, but there’s no better generals up, and I can’t post new threads in this IP range. Looking for suggestions on completing a “trifecta” of philosophers to explain “everything” from the highest possible perspective with as little overlap as possible.

Recommend me a good Hegel expert preferably from second half of 20th century, no continental bullshit.

Are there any good books that criticize the West not from the angles of colonialism, "racism", or other liberal bullshit? I'm more interested in criticizing the West for its Christian heritage or Faustian tendencies such as industrialization/industrialism, liberalism, missionary activities, and overly ambitious nature. Closest person I can find is Sayyid Qutb, but I am interested in anti-Western Indian and Far Eastern perspectives too that are more strong and don't rely on oversocialized rhetoric or inferiority complex towards nonsense like racism or colonialization.

>I’d be remiss not to mention Moynihan’s book-spanning engagements with Kant. Like Land, Moynihan brings the Old Jacobin’s delightful intellectual schadenfreude to the surface. Reason is not a gentle arbiter of the conscience—it literally pulls the human body into upright poise, cursing us to skeletomuscular breakdown, aneurysms, heart palpitations, haemorrhoids, and many other maladies. In exchange, we puppets get to embody the dictates of eternal, crystalline rationality. It takes going beyond Kant, of course, to see that reason’s true categorical imperative is the destruction of the universe itself, total reality collapse, ontological extinction, so that nothing even resembling a nervous system can ever exist again.

Both the left and the right follow a idealist dialectic scheme. Thesis – right, conservatism
Antithesis –left, progressivism
Synthesis: the world is reconfigured, but the institutions and the core values that allow such reconfiguration remain intact.
This is how the principle of authority for example still stands when traditional figures of authority are completely devasted by the change of times. Someone should develop this with more ddetails

kant just tried to cope with radical skepticism like everyone else in the time and he failed. but hegel is seriously scary. its barely philosophical, he reads like a grimoire. and the implications. oh the implications...

can someone explain to me why hegel believed reality was ultimately fundementally rational?

logic or reason by themselves dont neccesitate the existance of anything, let alone the quality of anything. there has to be an irrational part to reality that created existance and its qualities or the fundemental rules of reality. because at some point, if you keep asking "why is that?" to the rules of reality, you will come to a point where things are the way they are without any reason. right?

as far as i understand, hegel's "logic" isnt straight up logic but a different kind of fundemental ruleset. but i dont understand how that works

>Hegel was a sorcerer and the Left and Right being lobotomized bastard children of Liberalism and Conservativsm don’t get this. He advocated for a supreme divine state much like the Reich or the USSR’s plans for Europe and so you can take his insights and use them to justify extreme statism or some kind of techno-socialist autarchy. Right Hegelians focus on his dealings with Spirit, Leftists focus mostly on the Dialectic itself and try to secularize that as some type of silent-pneumatic machinery that drives history towards class conflict and communist statism. They’re both insane and Hegel’s phenomenology is a form of memetic psychoactive agent that binds the minds of everyone who reads it. Its venom, pure necrotizing linguistic magic. He was a genius for this reason. Also if you’re not an autistic retard he basically shows you how the techno-alchemical engineers of civilization are transforming humanity into a sacrificial killing field for otherworldly forces but that’s not interesting to rightists or leftists because they’re castrati golem creatures who only exist to poke holes in the barrier between man’s conscious rational awareness and his subconscious cthonic realm. If you wait long enough Hegel’s name will come up in most discussions by these groups. He’s the root of all their lunacy.

Is Hegel the most destructive philosopher ever? Pretty much every evil philosophy like communism and fascism comes from him.

What would he have thought about his influence?
