Is he right? Is self-improvement being used as a means of radicalising anons on 4chan, to make them join the alt-right? Should self-improvement be apolitical, and if so, how would we go about encouraging a self-improvement program without ideological roots? Or is an apolitical version of self-improvement even possible, or is the concept itself necessarily grounded in right-wing ideals?
