Wallace is like a character out of an Ellis novel.

Tell us all about the scripts you are working on, anons.

I'm currently working on a feature called Shelf of Memes about a literary agent who makes millions by turning the work of his clients into must-buy memes on a Cantonese anime message board. One of his clients is a buck-toothed recluse, one sweats a lot, one is a chink, another is a literary critic who wears a constant frown. When they discover his shortcut, and the ill effects it may have on their long-term legacy as authors, they plot to kill him in an act of shared and untracable justice and subsequently commit mass suicide when they realise that their actions have turned the plot of Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express into yet another pernicious meme.

2015 is coming to an end. Let us list the books that we have read this year, what did you like the most, what did you like the least, what are your reading plans for 2016 and so on.

Oh and rate other peoples list, but nobody does that and it's pointless

Is Platonic love possible? Between two people where it normally wouldn't happen? There's a girl who used to come over to my house since we were teenagers, and I read Plato's Phaedrus to her before, and she told me she thought it was beautiful. Now she's 19 and I'm in my 20's but she still comes over to my house and hangs out with me all the time. We sort of flirt sometimes (she took a shower at my place before and she came out blushing and looking like she was fourteen and kept fiddling with her towel for a long time before I asked her why she still had her towel, and she said, "Because...." and I said why, and she looked at me and said in squeaky voice, "I'm wet," and I started laughing and she smacked me with the towel then started laughing too), but it's pretty much entirely in jest. We have a great intellectual rapport, and care deeply about each other.

>figure out that "DELTORA" is an anagram for the order of the jewels all on my own, feel like a genius
>ReadingCounts program starts
>Take the quizzes for all of the DQ books
>Get like 60 ReadingCounts points

Shit was so cash, I had roughly 300 points by the end of both my 3rd and 4th Grade years. Harry Potter quizzes had me rolling in points as well

I don't really dislike his fiction, but he has some weird quirks that make me wonder what relation his editors he must have had.

That weird "and but so", w/r/t and sometimes sentences that ouright don't make sense gramatically.
