I would love to see Wittgensteins reaction to the impact his unpublished gibberish had in the fields of linguistics

>>Neat -- you're doing it right to the extent that I grew up with half of these last names lol.
On the jew or the irish/scottish part?

>Why else? Money.
Holy shit, now that's fucked up.

>They made a similar moral calculus that, on some level, he might've -- that being raised by a rich murderer of a certain social standing was ultimately the superior outcome
But you're not saying that they agreed on the killing, right? Was she like "oh yeah, kill me and raise our kid but don't tell her anything" or was it more of a "We mentioned this once and since the idea sprang up, I'm gonna take the chance and murder that woman, I never really liked her anyway. I'll shoot her when she is sleeping or something" sort of murder?

>So did you kill your dad or is the novel a literal murder fantasy?
The "murdering dad thing" is from the novel Rotten Families which is totally and completely fictional. The "having a huge fight with dad and losing all money" is from the novel that I'm writing but in this one, the titular character gives up on his finishing the medical degree he's holding on (his father and family came from a big line of doctors) and wastes it doing other really questionable and stupid things; he gets into debt. The father doesn't put up with it. The main character has trouble with drug usage and ends up getting into trouble which makes his father detest him even the more. This is the dark night of the soul for him at that point.

What does Wittgenstein mean that the world is all of the facts rather than things? What is the world other than the things that make it up? Doesn't it exist independently of the facts about those things?

>Do you really need to understand a read all those fuckers to grashp Nietzsche?
Going by academic standards, no. You don't have to read any primary source, you don't even need to read Nietzsche to understand Nietzsche. Just read supplements, read someone else thinking for you, like a baby bird eating disgorged worm slurry or a dog eating another dog's feces.
