>You're just dumb. Do you even like reading?
I'm reading several texts right now, including a Hemmingway which is under 200 pages.
From personal experience most of what I've read over 200 pages wasted a lot of time on inane bullshit that was unimportant.
That being said, I read a lot of works that are made up of smaller mostly-self-contained books such as religious texts and folklore lit a la Le Morte D'Arthur.
I haven't read Don Quijote mostly because I haven't studied Spanish in quite awhile though at one point I was decent enough to read entry-level texts. I'm kinda waiting for that urge to flair up again in which I'll probably use that book as a main driver of relearning the language. It'll just be a bit more tedious than my current reads because while I have a decent grasp on sentence structure and conjugation, I'm sure I'll be needing to consult a dictionary repeatedly.

What are some novels focused on girlpower?
I enjoy Arthur C. Clark but am willing to step outside my tastes.
