My sister is due in a couple of weeks from now. growing up, i never really had any uncles that you could look up to. They were all pretty distant and one of them ended up being a smoker that relies on my grandmother and dad for living expenses and the other has about 6+ children with 3+ different women. Add to this, my grandfather recently passed away, and i made a promise to myself that i would fill in the role my grandfather could no longer fill by emulating his virtues.

Currently, i suffer from some mental problems like depression, severe anxiety, and other things, but i want to try to overcome them so that i can become someone my nephew can look up to.

Any books on becoming a good uncle?
