What is the best place to get free audio books? i spend a lot of time driving for work so i wanted to use that time for listening to audio books. I tried TPB but it doesn't have the books i'm currently reading.

Any books that focus on conservative ideals while also exploring man's ability to improve and achieve his goals thru the sheer power of his will and intelligence ?
Growth of the soil is a decent suggestion in this regard, but I know there's more

Haven’t worked on it in too long because college projects and finals reared their ugly heads. At least I’m really far into it, farthest I’ve gotten with any book so far. Looking forward to summer, I’m going to at least get the first draft done before school starts again dammit.

Does anyone like reading the in depth analysis of books and its themes/characters more than the book itself?

I always feel bored reading an actual book, but then I pick up another book that describes the book from analytical point of view and get hooked.

Why is that? Sometimes I feel like I'm too stupid to understand the message and the analysis sparks my interest again, but most of the times I just find anaysis books desribing things a lot better than the writer himself actualy portrayed.

Anyone else with similar interest? What would you recommend to someone like me?

Don't bother.

He was a worthless and degenerate philosopher.

What is it that makes a good book?
Is it your own subjective view on it or is it a general consensus that a book is good?

Im someone looking to get into /lit/ but i dont know if my current taste is an unwanted taste.
I've read plenty of fiction works, most are science fiction and fantasy novels but i look on here and it seems the works you are reading aren't contemporary novels or are fairly complex reads that i have no interest in such as philosophy or theology pieces.

What can i do to fix my way of thinking?
I dont want to be a edgy /lit/ wanna be.

Yeah, I bought that edition too.

It's amazing they still sell it. Are they unaware of how flawed it is?

What's even more interesting is all the people who read this version and completely miss this stuff...Curious, isn't it?

Not really, my personal reflections tend to be more meaningful to me if they're spontaneous, and writing them down makes it feel monotonous and trivial

Weird to explain, I guess. Maybe I'm just stupid.
