Small Gods is the best book, and its disconnected from the main timeline so there's no reason not to start (and end) there. You can really start with literally whatever book you want though. Just, don't bother with the first three or the last few (or any, really).

Small Gods, Mort, or Wyrd Sisters are all good starting points but don't be too worried about continuity, because they're all good stories worth the reading even if you read them out of order and already know a bit about the characters ahead of time.

Hello. I just started collecting board guide pics for further study when I have free time (you know, with tables, screenshots, etc.). I don't yet have anything /lit/-related (except pic related).
Can you guys dump EVERYTHING you have here? Not just what's in the recommended reading portal, any helpful image you have related to literature.

You can start anywhere and catch up pretty easily, or you can start at the beginning of any of the series.
Guards Guards is the first watch series book
Equal Rites is the first witches book,
Mort is the first death book,
and colour of magic is the first wizards book, (but it's not very good, he doesn't find his flow until the first couple of books are over with.)
