I suck at reading. Everytime I try to read a book I lose concentration within 5 minutes of reading. I have to read the same page ten times over in order to fully understand it. I used to cheat on literature tests in high school because of this. Now I have a genuine interest in books and want to fix my issue. Any advice for people like me? I've gotten into American Psycho currently and want as a goal for 2020 to read at least 1 book per month.
