Yes and having someone do a test for moral foundations really aids political discussion since you know in advance what they care for and what they don't. Without tests it just falls into the usual post hoc reasoning nonsense for value judgements.

Important for anyone who cares about understanding and discussion rather than autistic screeching.

Alice Munro's short stories
A Dolls House is confrontational but sets a precedent.
Jordan from The Great Gatsby is a great example of a dull cunt that wants to be one with the boys.

I mean you see a lot of this in television since I tend to avoid books about this type of crap but it's still relevant to /lit/.
Women are smarter and are entitled to their own peace and quiet and men are predatory and dull. It's as old as time itself but it's really started to develop over the years.

As for accusatory women in philosophy, one only has to look at Hannah Arendt who is a consummate public prosecutor.
In Greek mythology all figures of justice are female from Themis to Nemesis, Dike (lol) and the Furies.
In Norse mythology Frigga is considered wiser than Odin, but it's left a 'mystery'.

Men have to pander to women but literature proves that everyone knows that this pandering is the only thing affirming their false belief of equality.
>this all about you?
Yes, of course. If I don't like something, I comment on it you female brain untermensch.

and he leans much to heavily on his clinical knowledge as a source of proof for his philosophical ramblings. To the layman, it sounds consistent because of the slimy way he presents it "oh I have clinical experience where I've helped people overcome issues through simple adherence to a specific structure so that proves it's naturally occurring and the only possible way to live life" repeat ad nauseam

I guess that is dependent upon how you compare them. Is it like you only pick your top favorite work by them or simply everything?

Aristotle might be my favorite, but I really love Thucydides. Xenophon is awesome just from the aspect there's a lot to read, that's fairly diverse, and even if his writing style and thought aren't on par with others he's just a top-tier comfy read desu.

Lately I've been reading mostly historical texts, Thucydides, Xenophon, Plutarch, some philosophy, as well as some stuff like Song of Roland Sir Gawain and whatnot.

Anyway, when I was younger I really loved reading Tolkien. I've probably read The Silmarillion about 8-9 times. I pretty much dropped fantasy altogether shortly after I finished reading everything by him, since I sadly found out most modern fantasy is utter crap. But is there anything out there /lit/ could recommend?

>packing your conclusion into your premise
Anon, you're going to experience a lot of conflict in your life, and you're going to think it's because others are unreasonable, dogmatic or self-delusional. But I want you to know that won't be the reason. It'll be because you're an asshole.
