i feel you,anon. i just pretend to be someone different with everyone i talk to in a hope to at least not make them dislike me too much. i'm so lonely that i can easily pretend to have different interests and opinions, only to have an empty conversation with someone i don't even like because it's better than being alone. and then i wish i had a girlfriend (or at least a friend group) with which i could share my interests in art, literature, etc. but in this fear of being disliked, sharing anything i care about with anyone other than me just feels unsafe.
is there a cure?
