>GO OUTSIDE.
Nothing has radicalized me more than going outside and seeing how much my community has actually decayed in the last 10 years.
Nothing has radicalized me more than actually working one of those office jobs and seeing the shit Americans do to themselves
Nothing has radicalized me more than seeing my neighbors, in real life, turn into fat slobs more each year

I go on the internet, fall into my niches - almost start to forget it all, but then I fucking go outside again for work and my rage comes roaring back

...you're right OP, you're right.

You said that you don't care about..<the expansive list of things you don't care about>.. well then, what DO you care about?
You're probably tempted to say, "I don't know," or maybe even, "nothing." If this is your answer then check to make sure you aren't being dishonest with yourself.
If you do have something you care about then why aren't you going all in on that?

>I tell myself every day that I'll soon work intensely on one thing but I can't bear to do this.
This is exactly me, however at least you have the willpower to sit through those boring canon novels even though you don't get enjoyment out of it.
So you do have self-discipline, so just turn it onto what you want to do.

That fact that you typed this up and posted it here means that you are looking for something... I don't know what that is, but in case it is empathy from someone in the same situation you have it from me.

I don't want to pretend to understand you anymore so I guess I'll talk a little about me:
>be 19y/o wagecuck
>community college, not directionless but too many directions to choose
>redecide what I want to do with my life every week
>constantly start projects and never finish them
>incredibly frustrated and ashamed at my inability to stick with what I want to accomplish; with the amount of time I've already wasted, I could have done something worthwhile
>I have decided not to be a college cuck like most of my friends, going into debt for shit they don't care about in classes that feel like a waste of time
>also don't want to be a wagecuck
>gambling with my life by not choosing the easy route (working 9 to 5 for the rest of my life)
>started writing a book in my off time at work when I was 17, still working on it slowly but surely(I ridicule this idea of being an author, but I want to tell the story I thought up so I keep working)
>learning coding from the internet so I can design video games or build a website(this is appealing because I can work ALONE and at home)
>If all else fails I'll build a unibomber cabin in the woods, or do what the Chris McCandless kid did. This has appealed to me since I read, "My Side of the Mountain" when I was a kid.
>I am very passionate about politics and care about the destruction of ecosystems and the fact that we are making this planet uninhabitable, but I know we're fucked anyways the human race will be extinct in 200 years so don't want to go down that route.
Welp that's about it friendo, I sincerely wish you luck.

>the entire military is just a big special forces unit basically

to add to this, they are so specialized that they dont even have guns to shoot the bugs. they only jump pack around planting bombs and shit and then extract. each individual works literally miles apart from the next closest soldier and one of the few times one comes face to face with a bug hes forced to punch it with his robot arm since they dont carry firearms at all. one of the main reason this book is associated with military people (i think its on the navys reading list and others) is because it presents an interesting future for how the military may evolve and operate, not because the book says the military should rule society (which it doesnt say at all).

if literally anyone who criticizes the book, ever just read the book they would see that it is critical of the action movie style presentation and image of the military and is actually trying to present an image of necessity and realism
