what makes a good writer?

A dramatised account of contemporary r9k level autism, from a the protagonists early childhood up until his suicide in his early 20s. I already have some of the main chapters, one where he suffers an isolation induced breakdown and makes friends with a ghost in an abandoned part of his campus and experiencing his first semblance of a human relationship, it will be ambiguous whether they were an actual person, or a ghost, or just a stress hallucination. Its really bad btw

Are people at the top tier universities really more interesting and capable?
I am finishing undergrad at a pleb tier "yoonay" and going to into basically my dream program for postgraduate, will people actually be smart? Will there be people who have things to talk about other than "haha i drank so many vodkas last night and then I THREW UP ALL OVER THE PLACE haha"

Is it me, or do a lot of people on this board seem to lack a basic understanding of grammar and sentence composition?

I do this at almost every university society ive ever attended
I just tell myself I did it ironically, eventually it became funny and I would actively sabotage every interaction I had in a sort of Andy Kauffman act
