>finally finish Rendezvous with Rama
Nothing happens: the novel
I liked it.

It's grating seeing the same behavior across nearly all boards in all threads. The swarm has polluted the pool for good.

Uh, I'm still slowly reading Foundation and Earth. I really liked Foundation's Edge. I'm not sure what I'll read afterwards. I might check out The Secret Teachings of All Ages or I might find a hard sci-fi to get into.

>What are you reading right now?
VALIS by PKD. I am really enjoying the prose. Might be top contender for favorite prose in a novel. It's so casual, in a sense, like he's sitting here in my living room telling me a story, and for the most part I can understand what he is explaining--barring the extreme religious themes thus far.

Confirmed for not reading the comics which were bastardized through the movie format.

Imagine if the Ousters were explored more than
>Hyperion: OUSTERS BAD
>Fall of Hyperion: OUSTERS BAD
>Endymion: OUSTERS BAD
>Rise of Endymion: OUSTERS GOOD
Gosh, imagine what Hyperion COULD HAVE been. ;_;

The books are fine. There is not an over-emphasis on romance. It's only 'important' in the first few books because Croaker is the fucking Annalist, and even then, most people revere the first few books over the rest of the books. The entire series is extremely solid--albeit with a bit of slow-pacing around the middle--and still contains the qualities that made the series well done.

Aside from looking for Hoid? Yeah.

>quotations around Talenel
Good man.

>The way that Radiance works
What are you referring to with 'Radiance'?

>Nightblood on Roshar (WoB is that Shai is hunting Hoid down)
What does Shai have to do with Nightblood?

And shit son, I never knew he wrote a novella about Jasnah in Shadesmar. Unless you're referring to the bit about Jasnah in Shadesmar that takes place in Book 3. He's read the excerpt a few times and I believe he sent it along with one of his newsletters too.
