Just why

I've come to the realization that the use of periods and sentence structure in general is pretty arbitrary. All that stuff you learned about clauses in school was kind of stupid and pointless. In fact half of the time trying to use "proper" sentence structure just leads to needless complications and statements that are more difficult to understand. Basically Cormac McCarthy was right about punctuation.

You know I've come to the realization that one of the reason I like writing fiction so much is because it enables and outright encourages me to create characters and then make them suffer in the most creative ways possible.
Is this a sign that I'm a psychopath.
