Maupassantish: something that resembles the work of Guy de Maupassant, as in "the character in this television show is rather Maupassantish."

I take four classes a year. I'll be 35 by the time I get my Bachelor's Degree. On the bright side I have a 4.0 GPA and I pay for everything out of pocket.

I read through a lot of "classic literature" in 2021 I was a NEET and basically spent 14+ hours reading a day

Things like Russian literature classics, all of shakespeares works and a lot else mixed in but see the problem is I then had medical problem in my brain, was operated on and have lost about a year and a halfs worth of memory including this reading period.

Should I re-read everything? Should I read other stuff and just give up on what I read that time?. I don't even remember some of the books I read let alone the content but then when I do read it I'm sure it will spark my memory and it will feel like I know most of the book now.

What would you do in my situation /lit/?

Finally got my master's in Anglo-American Studies with my dissertation based on the tension between individualism and communitarian utopianism in American society of the 19th and 20th centuries. What do I do now? PhD or get a degree in something that actually matters?

Hypothetically, how would one go about citing an illegally obtained epub in a research paper? Are epubs on libgen and z-lib formatted as per the usual ebook standard, or are they merely pdfs converted to epub, and thus any possible reference I could make to page number is invalid?

Christine Korsgaard is one of the greats, possibly the best Kantian philosopher of the last 100 years. Also Sarah Broadie is my favourite living scholar on Plato.

Plato's Symposium and Laws, unironically. In both texts he gives the first arguments against pedophilia you can find in Western philosophy.
Tl;dr: it is unjustifiable on two ground:
1) in Symposium it is proven that the pedophile does not really love children: he always uses them. As such, you could not justify it morally even in an universe in which children could consensually take part in sexual relationships with adults. Also, of course
2) we don't live in such a universe, as it is argued in the first book of Laws, so not only you're using children, but you're also severely harming them (and by proxy, it pedophilia is normalized, you're harming society as a whole by taking part to a prsctice which systematically ruins thr youth's prospects).
