Clearly the first step toward industry, toward man dominating man through artifice, trickery, and harnessing the natural world toward base ends is the creation of this first object. Man henceforth places himself in the servitude of objects by relying on them, relying on their creation to satisfy his rather simple ends. The object creation becomes increasingly complex over time, the systems of objects lead to greater systems in order to sustain the further growth and acceleration of themselves, often at the expense of the natural human condition.

We find ourselves exhausting our planet and the very spirit of our species in the name of worship, kowtowing to this simple fucking drive to accumulate for its own sake, ostensibly to make life easier and better, but truly in servitude to the object.

You see, the invention of the pointed rock and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.

I'm impressed with this and stealing this thought. You will see it again, but it will not be yours.

Believe what you want. It's not a story making rounds in the Western press, yet. There aren't many sources, and most of the ones that exist are in that Cyrillic Mongolian shit.

Frankly, the Mongolians have had to put up with Chinese bullshit for centuries, and they're worried about the regional instability it will cause having an unsettled Muslim population near their southern border. They're looking for greater Russian involvement in the whole thing, except Russia is clearly more interested in dealing with Ukraine atm, and doesn't want to risk irritating its southern neighbor, especially for a country as piddling as Mongolia.

Oh, honey.

Hayek said something like "While in the long run men are masters of their destiny, in the present we are captives of the ideas we have created." It appears you're a captive of the notion of freedom.

Follow your pleasure, not the extinction drive that drugs and masturbation come from, that killing of anxiety rather than addressing it, and you will slowly open to freedom, realizing it consists of finding a better master.
