It’s true. You will get shit for not working, for not being a wagie full-time or part time. People will treat you differently and think something is wrong, and you will have to adjust your answers when introducing yourself to new people. But honestly, it’s not that bad lol in comparison to what you are getting in return, namely, an opportunity to read without interruption or distraction, to pursue whatever line of thought, wherever it takes you. Do you realize, the entire cannon, as well as all the second, third and fourth hand resources, are available to you now anywhere and anytime. If you choose to do this for long enough, I’m talking years, you will eventually have to get a bs job sprinkled here and there to satisfy the concerns of the people around you and you will likely have to go to school sometime as well, but that’s all to keep the normies from getting suspicious while you climb the summits. I think every era has an opportunity that opens up only for that era and I am quite convinced that we live in an era unlike any other, with an opportunity so great it’s quite literally unbelievable. The Internet, everyone believes and has come to know, is a miracle. And it’s miraculous power is that they can connect us and we are all more connected. What people are not realizing is that we are connecting with ghosts as well. I’ve come to realize that most people around me are dead, and that the truly living are those who are eternal, and I can now connect with them through their works, I can now hear them and learn from them. I hang out with them. I am trading in a norm life to stay in dialogue with holy spirits. I don’t see this as a hobby or something I choose to do, I don’t see any other life worth living then this. I don’t know where this is gonna take me, but I can tell you this, where I’ve come so far, I would never have dreamed possible.
