There's no way you'll understand the difficult Plato dialogues without already having a good foundation in philosophy, so it would be a waste of time. You should read the Trial and Death of Socrates, The Republic, and whatever else interests you of the Greeks. Proceed with reading what interests you as well as the major works.
Then return to the Greeks.

I guarantee that anyone who recommends this linear progression 'Read everything the Greeks ever wrote' meme is a pseud. They didn't read it all themselves and they certainly didn't read the small handful of moderns who understood the Greeks.
