True. The pacing is terrible and even someone innathread said that it's best experienced by waiting for several chapters to build up instead of weekly. Basically everything takes place within a small dwarf galaxy. You don't need to read everything now because the books aren't interconnected so strongly (yet.) I just woke up so it's a meager explanation but it will work for now.

He still has a problem where he'll give a character a 'quirk' and then that character does it all the goddamn time. At least he's finally lessening it and not having these traits occur every other goddamn page.
