/lit/ really has its own specific board culture I've never seen a board like this. I lurk a few other board but but this board seems it's like not just 4chan culture it's really /lit/ culture. Not that I like it I'm just stating a fact. I don't really know how to express this but when I use /lit/ I feel like I'm using one of these forums in the 2000s when there was forum culture. There's so many recognizable things and memes and repeated gimmicks and it's not just the tripfags there are certain autists without a trip that are recognizable by their typing style and subject of discussion and reoccurring threads

Yep, have you noticed the increase in "shower thoughts" threads where some zoomer tries his hand at some self-help life philosophy shit?

The problem is simple. More users overall as 4chan gets more normie famous (have had conversations with normies about how they think this place is the wild west and "wish they could post here"), more users primarily using their phones, with no memory of using a PC because they're so young, more users whose experience of the internet is shaped by social media because they're too young to remember it before everything was social media.

What you're seeing isn't some complex shift in discourse. It's just a flood of zoomers who think the whole internet exists to be a discord chatroom for them to "post memes" in. It's not just reddit, it's the next level of reddit's evolution.
