Why would I want to get someone else's opinions on my kino writings?

What is /lit/'s answer to nihilism? I used to be very motivated and ambitious. Now I don't know what the point of anything is.

Oliver's Transphobia video was such narrow-minded bullshit. He thinks that the only people who oppose transgenderism are feminists like Sheila Jeffreys and transmedicalists like Ray Blanchard. PhilosophyTube then conflates the gender critical position with transphobia, because he only follows SJWs and has no idea that there are plenty of transpeople who are themselves gender critical - or, as Oliver would say, delusional metaphysisists.

He then namedrops Ray Blanchard without explaining what he did to deserve the namedrop and also namedrops Sheilla Jeffreys as examples of a transphobic academics to earn brownie points from the SJW contingent. The fact is that Blanchard has actually treated transpeople as a gender therapist and had them under his care, whereas Jeffreys is just running her mouth in a book, yet Oliver pretends that these wildly different academic positions are one and the same. According to Oliver someone who has actually had hundreds of transpeople under his care and has observed and studied them closely over many years is the same thing as some opinionated feminist with no direct experience with transpeople as patients or otherwise. So much for Oliver's own lack of rigor, but then again, he is not an academic himself, he's just a parttime actor in London running his mouth on Youtube.
