I'm also a stem fag. Reading a book is not gonna help as she wants to hear of your love for her from you not a book
With my wife when I write a love note it's typically about how happy I am she's mine, how awesome of a wife she is, she is irreplaceable, etc. Maybe mention specific stuff she's done for me lately as evidence of her excellence at being my wife eg: cooking dinner, doing dishes when I'm tired, etc.
And obviously mention that I love her and compliment her smile, her personality, whatever.
That's pretty much it anon. I'm no Casanova but she loves getting love notes from me and will often give me one as well

Best of luck and just approach it with an attitude of you are blessed to have her.

I plan to self publish myself, pay to print a couple thousand copies of my novel, then I'll just randomly leave the copies on subway seats for people to pick them up.
That should get a few hundred people to read my book, then they'll recommend it to their friends and it's smooth sailing from there.
