I haven't read it but I heard a couple of people say that in one of Plato's final works, he creates a kind of secret society that really controls civilization behind the scenes, and I think it was called the "Order of the Night" or the "Nocturnal Order".
The guys I heard this from were saying that basically, modern day intelligence agencies are based on this.

Many of the early feminists such as Susan B. Anthony practiced witchcraft. Before that time, when witches were burned at the stake, a lot of witches had feminist beliefs as well such as the idea that they must "liberate" themselves from misogynist patriarchal Christianity.
Later feminists such as Betty Friedan and Judith Butler often come from a Marxist background, which has roots in occult and kabbalah. Karl Marx himself wrote poetry to Satan and he also wrote about the need to liberate women from oppressive traditional gender roles.

I used to think that Jordan Peterson was ok and he had some decent insights here and there. I thought that he could be a decent entry point for getting people into some intellectual topics.
But to be quite straightforward anons I wish that he would stop crying all the time and being such a faggot. I am starting to think that he he does fake crying to give his talks more emotional weight. It is a very effective tactic, especially on women and generally people of lukewarm intelligence. I don't really care about DFW that much, but OP reminded me of something. I have noticed that many people from the young boomer, gen x, and early millennial age groups still seem to believe that the edgy, rebellious, cool, sort of counter-culture opinion to have is being socially liberal/progressive, pro-diversity, feminism, multiculturalism, criticizing white people, and so on. They still see the world like it is the 70s and they think society is this mean white patriarchy sort of thing. They seem to have trouble understanding that their "cool, edgy" views are actually the dominant cultural narrative that the media pushes.
In contrast, a lot of later millennials and gen z don't really have this illusion because they have grown up in a time where the media doesn't even pretend to be be in favor of some kind of traditional white patriarchy anymore.
