I'm arguing for veganism, but it's important that one's motives for it should be of genuine compassion for the suffering of other sentient beings, not some ideological ecology.

After reading the Stanford entry on Wittgenstein I've been dead-set on reading his work. I tought to take the Tractatus with me as I'll be spending some time abroad shortly and the book is easy to carry around. Just a happy coincidence.

Now, I've read Descartes, Kant, Schopenhauer, and generally a quite a bit about modern philosophy. No backgound in Analytic though. Personality and engagement are personal, ut am i well read enough to get into this piece?
