Im a psychologist and fantasy/sci fi books will make you way more prone to being hypnotized by a gay and then blackmailed.
How do you cope with this?
Only author i know who is actually good for your subconscious as a man is Isaac Asimov.
Also, Dune is literally about the fear of dicks and their "spices". Frank Herbert more likely was abused. Having fear of it might make you more suscetible to it in a sexual assault situation. Instead of fighting the fear will freeze you and you will maybe comply with orders you dont want to.

Stop reading fantasy and sci fi and start reading The Bible and non fiction books.
