Europe became patriarchal after Christianity invaded and it is the religion that maintains the patriarchy. But the Chinese are not so superstitious and pious so there is no force like that to maintain their patriarchy. Why did they only have on female emperor in the whole history? Even the Christian countries have had more female rulers. What makes them so patriarchal?
