Those well read about those topic usually stick to anthropological studies or other scholar reading. Books are early always made by pop scientists to appeal to wide audiences, so you will be hard pressed finding anything up to current science.

Best you can do is follow the people which work as multiplicators on youtube and eat your way through the actual mountain of studies and comments.

But tell me what eactly your interst would be and maybe I can check if I find some more objective books on those topics.
