Who stated Nietzsche loved Islam? Love is a strong word in Nietzsche's vocabulary. Nietzsche liked it enough to include a few thoughts about his respecting the manliness of the religion in The Antichrist and a couple of his notebooks.

My personal favorite analysis of The Prince is actually by Louis Althusser. He wrote a short little book called Machiavelli et nous or Machiavelli and Us. It's translated by Verso, it's only about 100 pages and it is devastatingly good.
