None of the 'actors' (apart from the ones that play Kaladin and Dalinar) feel like they want to read at all.
Christ, hearing people say 'Storm it' sounds 10x as forced compared to reading it.

I unironically get depressed when I think about all the people who may well end up in hell. It'd be billions of lost souls, scared and crying. In their moments of agony they wouldn't cry as sinners but as children who want it (the unbearable pain) to stop. But I think physical pain (if present at all) will be overshadowed by the post-existential dread of being in a truly "ended state", unable to change from this point onward. They will think about this and that transgression made in life and realize how it could have been averted, but this realization will only be made after the time of potential aversion has passed. It makes me sad that my friends, my family, my girlfriend might end up there. I could end up there. It does make some of us sad, anon. We'd like for everyone to make it into the Kingdom of God, or at least we should.

Started reading Lord of the Rings but I found myself disliking the style of narration and page-filling dialogue that's found in the book. Overall it looks like I'm dropping it.

This was my attempt at getting back to reading books after a two-month hiatus but it seems like it failed. Now I'm looking at something else to read.

I don't like being compared to a zombie but i'll let that slide
i take the train to college almost every day so basically i use it as a way to sit down and relax before i have to deal with the next social event like getting lunch with friends or going to a lecture, and going home provides a good cool down wen i just walk back home listening to whatever i put on spotify
