I don't get why Zizek claims Deleuze was a Hegelian. There are certain aspects, such as an irreducible metaphysical pluralism, that doesn't seem to fit that well with Hegel. But then again Hegel's greatest strength (and maybe problem) is that his thought can be extended to encompass just about anything. Not being Hegelian is the most Hegelian thing possible.

"Kantian philosophy" is A
"german turboautism" is B
A is not B, A is A and B is B. Therefore the statement A is B is false by definition.

Madness as contradiction in a still subsisting reason.”

Nature “refers to the basically pre-rational level of mental life, the “life of feeling” (Gefühlsleben) which Hegel associates with darkness: the domain of the unconscious, of instinct, of the body. The feeling soul (die fühlende Seele) “is the stage of [mind’s] darkness,” where the “light” of consciousness is not yet explicit , and Gefühlsleben is the “dull stirring, the inarticulate breathing, of the spirit through its unconscious and unintelligent [pre-rational] individuality” (in seiner bewußt- und verstandlosen Individualität) The withdrawals of the mad and tragic selves into nature thus will be voyages into those “infernal regions” referred to in the lines of Virgil which Freud takes as the motto for his Interpretation of Dreams: “if I cannot bend the higher powers, I will move the infernal regions”?

- The higher powers circumscribing the sphere of consciousness and rationality, and the infernal regions encompassing the unconscious domain of the body and instinct. Thus in insanity, where “the natural self…gains mastery over the objective, rational… consciousness,” the “earthly element” {das Irdische) of nature is liberated “the dark, infernal powers of the heart are set free”.
