Exactly, a nihilist would die. That's why people who claim to be nihilists are not nihilists. Nihilism is impossible when you are living because nihilism if practiced would end in you killing yourself.
Nihilism historically has been used as a word to describe the opposing philosophy. It has never been a word people used to describe their own philosophy.
