NOT A BAIT POST can anyone recommend a good intro level textbook that will get you started on western philosophy? Would like at least a superficial understanding of the random big names that people spam here to maybe explore more deeply the ones that interest me. Names like:
>Marx, Engels, Nietzche, Stirner, Locke, Mill, Kant, Hume, Bacon, James, Adorno, Plato, Aristotle, Socrates, Sarte, Seneca, Descartes, Aquinas, Hegel, Spinoza, Guenon, Strauss, Cioran, Spengler, Steiner, Habermas, Augustine, Wittingstein, Heidegger, Hobbes, Thoreau, Husserl, James, Smith, Derrida, Heidegger, Focault, Kierkegaard, Zizek, Schopenhauer
>etc etc etc.
I have at most only superficial understanding of a tiny amount of a few of these had to say.

Don't say "start with the Greeks" and don't post the flowchart that starts with Edith Hamilton and Homer because this advice will show you don't know what you are talking about.
