I find reading boring. But the thought of reading is fun. And all those stories sound so intreguing. But the actual reading part. Boring. What do?

If you read the poetic edda, read the Bellows translation. It's in my opinion, the best.

The Icelandic Sagas are indeed great and I'm also gonna second Egil's Saga.

If the language used in the original Eddas is too antiquated for you, check out a book called The Norse Myths by Kevin Crossley-Holland. I gave it to my kids and they love it (it's by no means a children's book, though)

"Viking" = Not an actual language.... When I wrote that It was knowing that the Viking literature lists encompasses over four or so languages (Finnish, Old English, etc.)
"Chinese" = Encompasses the various dialects of China, from Mandarin to Cantonese. Some say they differ enough to be considered their own languages.
