When they rely heavily on shallow symbolism and just serve as a metaphor for some real life issue, and instead of using their writing to show the nuances of the issue or both sides and make a statement, they just go and make it really fucking surface level and borderline propoganda for their beliefs, it doesnt matter what their belief is, I just think its lazy and really fucking predictable and calls for immiediate dropping.
