I highly respect the OG's of Sci Fi. I love the spectrum of the genre, from horror sci-fi to fantasy.

I love different science fiction for different reasons.

However, Dan Simmons' Hyperion Cantos is the most well-rounded Science Fiction ever written.

I'm rereading it on my kindle and it's like seeing an old friend again. Truly a remarkable series.

Just started the first Hyperion books. Gotta say, I was a little apprehensive at first - but so far it's fucking awesome. I'm surprised no one has tried to make a TV series out of this. Thanks /sffg/
