Morality shouldn't concern you, ever. Unless you are going to live your life in a close knit group of people who's liking of you and their altruism towards you dictates your quality of life then you don't need to think about morality ever. Morality evolved solely so that we could show other people that we are the good guys and that we would help them/reciprocate their actions of ''good'' will when they would need it.
If you have an opportunity to improve your life and you don't take it because of some moral bs you have been effectively fucked over by the society. You do not serve yourself you serve the collective. You become the most submissive faggot possible ever.

I have yet to find why I should give a fuck about morality and morals. I have no trouble showing people that I am their friend and that I would reciprocate their good actions. Do my friends give a fuck that I would stamp a kittens head into the pavement? No, they do not, because they realize that doing so would not be beneficial to our relationship so they just ignore it.

The reason morality is a relevant thing in discussions is because its being discussed. Discussion happens between people and when two people talk their goal as much as you would like to think that its the search for truth it's never that.
The goal of conversation is to gain, always. You do not get anything by saying that you would murder the person in front of you if you were the only two people in the room. Most intellectual faggots despite their proclaimed love of open minds and free thinking get irrationally angry when presented with opinions that do not cater to their beliefs. Also people don't like it when other people don't like them or would not reciprocate their friendship/goodwill. So it happens that people discuss morality just so they can get friendship points, good person points or a reputation of a person who would help you in need so that's why you should help them when they need it. All of this happens subconsciously and most of the time you don't even realize it.
