They ( 4chan and broadly speaking the 'alt-right') are just filling in a vacuum that the Leftists have ignored.
They demonize and bully western white males and anyone who tries to help them so it's only natural that you'd have a place that has an abundance of white males (4Chan) catering towards self improvement of this demographic.
Since the Left has abandoned this demographic and actively tries to prevent them from bettering themselves the Right fills the void.
As >>18971135 explained the process of self improvement is never neutral and one must have a background from which to determine what value structure is 'good' or 'bad' to know what direction is considered improvement.
The left has abandoned traditional Western value structures that lead to improvement and progress in the past (being physically fit, being mentally stable, acquiring wealth, embracing your culture, caring about your race and the direction of your nation, caring about a healthy family structure, taking on responsibility for yourself..ect.)
The Left has embraced degeneracy in the name of radical liberalism and tolerance. The Left has contempt for the West and wants to radically change it and therefor isolates, demonizes, subverts and bullies those who get in the way of the goal (to abolish white western hegemony) or wish to preserve traditional Western values.
It's only natural that a reaction to this comes in the form of guides to self improve found on boards such as /pol /fit on sites that lean Right. Where else are we going to find that?
