Nabbing as many of these as I feasibly can before that one girl in my class makes a beeline for them and when we get back to class, sitting underneath one of the long tables in my sleeping bag and waiting for lunch, which was always Little Caesar's pizza on Scholastic Book Fair Day.

Did anyone else's school hold book fair days on "read-in" days? You were supposed to bring books from home, blankets, pillows, sleeping bags, etc, and you could read until it was your class' turn to head to the book fair, then after you'd get your stuff, you could go back to class and read what you bought.
