Imagine dating a roastie like this. Give it two months until the honeymoon fucking period passes and all this mental garbage she's carrying will be projected on you, making your life hell. The worst thing is that vast majority of women born after 1990 are identically mentally ill because of Chad hookups and social media.

Yeah, those are common symptoms of AD medication - no energy, flat personality. Kratom affects your opiate receptors so the high is euphoric sedation, comfy and relaxing. Something like those two bottles of wine I mentioned but you don't get stupid and don't crave more, it's just peaceful sleep afterwards and no hangover. It's illegal in my country too, I order it online from abroad to alternating delivery drop points on fake contact info. Do your research and try it, ADs aren't as bad as boozing but you don't have to suffer those side effects.

I genuinely love kratom and settled for it as my only drug (not counting caffeine and nicotine salts) after a decade and half of trying out every known high there is, except heroin.

Its effect is precisely what I've always looked for - anxiety relief, euphoria - without ruining my life like booze does, without turning me into lazy paronoid retard like weed does, without killing my personality and emotion like antidepressants do. Kratom is perfectly suitable for daily usage as well.

As already mentioned several times in this thread, tolerance breaks are crucial, otherwise you'll end up consuming ridiculous amounts just for slight effect. Always taper off into tolerance breaks, don't quit cold turkey... but even then, the worst case withdrawal scenatrio is just a week or so of insomnia, anhedonia and slight panic. Sexual drive comes back with vengeance too, I end up cooming like a chimp on meth when coming off kratom.

Because it contradicts itself, it doesn't make sense outside of its situational context. If situations were spoken about in a concrete, context-free grammar then we might be able to argue moral statements on a case-by-case basis. There are likely moral universals, i.e. it would be considered wrong to murder someone randomly, inside a civilized society. But that's just embodied cognition and behaviorism, our evolution to naturally form groups and thus create our moral standards (such as murder being wrong)

Anyway, yeah. Making black-and-white moral statements are subject to fuzzy logic. There's always moral dilemmas depending on highly specific situations. The field of philosophy just needs to boil that down further, to an ontological level.

In the most dualistic way, the categorical imperative probably works best for general judgments. But yeah, it's not going to work for everything. And generally people act out of their own self-interest, don't get me started on all of that

I stare at a computer all day. I work all weekends. I never finish the work in my normal hours because its too much for one person. Have to fight with HR for extra hours payment. 2 hours of my day lost commuting. Too tired for reading or watching a movie, too tired for anything in my free time, I've become apathetic to even my girlfriend. I'm gonna quit this month, this sucks

>Butcher's original proposed title for the first novel was Semiautomagic, which sums up the series' balance of fantasy and hard-boiled detective fiction.
Hard pass.
