Do Eastern Religions have apologetics?
Actually making arguments why their system is correct and defending it from criticism like Christians have in the west?

Agreed
It's all so simple but /lit/ pseuds need to overcomplicate everything then seethe about their own nonsensical misunderstanding of things

I see you guys talk about hinduism and buddhism a lot and I don't understand anything about all the various branches, historical offshoots and philosophical currents.
What's a good reading list if I want to really familiarize myself with those religions? I mean really familiarize, I don't want to become one of those mindfulness drones who thinks Alan Watts is the height of spiritual insight.
Is it worthwhile to also look into taoism or is that completely separate and unnecessary?

Why is Hinduism wrong?
