these images (pic related) aren't funny, they're stupid, he's not the greatest linguist and poet the world's ever known, and nobody gives a shit, except you

good writing imo is a mix of a well-told story, characters, imagination and world building, all things GRRM does fairly well

I don't care about his sentence structure or poor phrasing in certain contexts, quit cherrypicking, also the Stranger was edgy as fuck

Your /lit/ heroes are all plebby pseudo-philosophers, most of which are praised for their 'poetry' and pretty sentence structure, even tho they had nothing of worth to say
