When today is tomorrow and when time is scuttling by,
when the day is close to come and you have nothing by your side,
oh thee flying hippo, the representation of the mind,
we plead with thou to come and take a look inside,

inside thy dusty quag, the soul all are assigned,
it frolics wandering and judging thine divine,
whenas thou think the beast has all entwined,
the rose colored glutton leaves you facing its behind,

then thy speak out, thine scream and whine,
thou ask in tears why the calf had declined,
why the hippo decided to spin and fly,
in response it simply sighed, simply recited back thine rhyme.
