Library of America has a lot of their writings organized by author, but take note that they usually include everything they can, so those are better for biographical interest than historical/political. For instance, I have their Hamilton book, which does include his Federalist Papers, but also includes his account of a hurricane, a letter on marriage advice, etc. Your best choice (starting out, anyway) would be their series "The Debate on the Constitution", which iirc arranges all the major pamphlets and essays regarding the writing/ratification of the constitution in chronological order.
