In the dream, I was in the second floor of my house, it has a great view and a balcony with a sliding door window.
It was night and I could suddenly hear the sound of some kind of phasing laser, it was slightly muffled. I walked to the sliding door window, opened it and then the sound became clear.
About a block away, a red beam was beaming down from the sky, there wasnt any source, it just stretched into the sky.
A few moments later another beam appeared, and then another, and as more appeared i realized they were getting closer and closer to me.
I quickly closed the door and ran into a closet. I sat there for a few moments before i realized the sound of the laser was getting louder, and I could see a red glow pouring through the gaps in the closet door.
Suddenly I could hear people screaming outside. Just as it seemed some kind of climax was about to be reached, I woke up.
