Obviously the TV people put makeup on him just like they do with everybody. They probably groomed his hair as well. With that clean denim shirt, he actually looks like less of a manlet as if he might actually have some muscle. Frankly I think he looks better and younger than he does in the first pic. To former heavy drinkers, do you think it has impaired your mental capacities at all? Have you noticed any changes in your attention span, memory or ability to understand difficult concepts?

My second year of college was basically drinking and doing various drugs and I'm afraid it's noticeably damaged my brain.

Can you still get into things like philosophy with a brain of a drunk?

It's a really stupid term, but I'm wondering if there's any school of philosophy that could be thought of as a very "emotional stoicism" - looking for the right judgement while being heavily influenced by feelings. It's obvious that I'm not very well read but I'm mildly interested.
