I thought second wave feminism made some really good points. Third wave essentialist feminism (grrrl power, plugging in those with a vagina in masculine roles without significantly changing the masculinity of those roles) is fucking obnoxious.

This would have been better if I recognized the particular works she was lambasting. That still wouldn’t really address the essential obnoxiousness of it though.
