I literally just YOLO it and trust my brain to keep notes. It's probably not the best way to go about things, but I'm too poor to afford my ADHD medication so that is the way it must be. Whenever I start a project I'll how how it starts, how it ends, and enough information to make it at least 10k words in before it's all touch-and-go from there. Also I write from start to finish and never edit because it's too much of a hassle. In spite of everything I've got a fair number of fans.

Everyone has this problem. The solution isn't to just let go, it's just indicative of a lack of experience. If you can't easily express your feelings it means you're lacking experience in both reading and writing. You'll also just need to accept that this isn't poetry, it's just prose. The bulk of your effort should revolve around setting, plot, and characters.
