I simply scorn every book that is less than 450-pages long, almost if there is something with my brain that just refuses to spend a single nickel on short books.

I used to read teenage fantasy/sci-fi books when I was a...teenager

I'm 20 now and sadly I find proper books boring. I just give up after a few chapters, I can't hack it and I can't appreciate it

It's like jazz to me, people find it so good to listen to but the catchiness or whatever is lost on me, it might just be too complicated for me and boring

What's wrong with me? How do I start liking adult books?
