How do you like to read your poetry, specially your favourite poems?
I used to read while waiting for buses but realize it spoils my experience since you focus on the time not as much as in the words.

It has been three days since I am reading Eliot's The Waste Land before sleep. I'm ASL so the poem is quite difficult for me.

Today I am suffering from mild symptons of flu and reading Eliot again is going quite nice to cope with it.
I just chose an youtube video with Eileen Atkins and Jeremy Irons, and I listen to them as I read. Yesterday I listening to Alec Guiness audio.

I highly recommend to read as you listen to it being performed. Quite enhances the experience.

What are some decent stand alone grim dark fantasy novels? Don’t care much for magic but I would like read about some bloody battles and maybe a rape scene here or there. I just don’t want to read 3-5 books to get to the end. I’m cool with some soft scifi too.

Currently I live in a suburb(?) of the 13th largest city in Ontario because my uni closed due to covid so I moved with my parents across the country. However I haven't left the house in six months except to walk around the giant forest behind me, so I kind of live in a city I guess.

I am a minimal fag. I only have my tiny wallet, a phone, and a kindle on me. Nothing else. I don't wear bookbags/carry any bags. And you're right, a jacket would work but it's summer time here so won't work unless you are wearing one.
